I want to be cosmopolite, Who are we?We have been members of the sailing community for over 30 years. It took us that long and some thousand miles mainly in the North and the Baltic Sea to realize that we sailed only about 30% of them. Also to us it always seemed that the wind came from the wrong direction, was too little or too tough, and therefore we often did not even try to make the effort to set the sails but powered straight on to our port of call. Ten years ago we decided to try out, if it is also possible to boat without sails. It worked! We found it out on a full-displacement 10m yacht which brought us everywhere around Berlin up to the Baltic Sea. It was a real pleasure: no handling of lines and sails, no stumbling and jumping on all that stuff. Now we decided to enhance comfort and reachable destinations. Searching for a long-range oceangoing boat took us up to the american west-coast, where boats are built which travel from California to Hawaii. We spent a lot of time looking at boats and talking to designers, ship-yards and boat-owners and then we knew what we were looking for. Unfortunately for us the american prices did not fit our budget. That is why it turned out to use the achieved information together with our boating and technical know-how and contact european designers. In Gdingen on the Polish Baltic Sea coast we found a naval-architect who converted our ideas into boat-plans. And we found a ship-yard In Gdansk also on the Polish Baltic Sea Coast which is now busy with the construction. What we present on our web-site is the result of 5 years of work. We hope you will find it interesting. For we ourselves are also in engeneering business, we developed and searched for some useful supplementary parts. For example we found a real solid tender. You will find more on the page Products in future.
